Bog standard chippy. The food was edible but wasn’t anything special, and wouldn’t curb that ‘chippy craving’. However, the pie was mediocre at best, the chips were fine and gravy was actually quite nice, but again, wouldn’t rave and rant on. Maybe something for a quick mid-week supper, but definitely not a Friday finale.

Ordered fish and chips, fish was minging, not sure what batter they use but it wasn’t nice, chips tasted like they’d been sat there a while, ordered a pie meal and only received the pie and even that tasted salty. Ordered pop corn chicken for the little one and they was rock hard, she lobbed it at my head and it hurt, shouldn’t be like that. Only decent thing was the sausages. Definitely would not recommend, tried to contact the shop and they didn’t pick up the phone. Completely rude and absolutely disgusting food.

If your working in retail shops you should learn to speak proper English, that customers can understand you and you can explain back. I ordered chicken tikka curry medium spicy. It was red sauce like plain ketchup and no flavour to it at all. On the menu it says £6.99 with 2 chapattis. The portion was very small for the price and tandoori chicken legs were bland. No sauces given. Overall I would not recommend this place the quality and flavour is extremely poor. Highly recommended not. I’d give it 0 stars if there was an option available 😜🤣🤣✊🏼💦💦

Leaving a review on behalf of my friend as she can’t leave a review. The service received from A1 Fish & Chips was very unprofessional with lack of communication by the staff. There was no flavour or taste to the chicken curry and just seemed like colour was added to the sauce to make it red. Way over priced for the portion given. Very disappointed. I will not recommend this Chippy to anyone. I’d give it 0 stars if there was option
