A6 Shutters came round this morning, fitted our roller shutters, well pleased with the work, and looks professionally done too, even took away the old wooden garage doors that were rotten and wouldn`t last another winter. Makes the garage more accessible and a lot more secure, all I can say is thanks.

I am absolutely disgusted. Firstly I called the office on Friday 17th March as my salon shutter wouldn’t come down. I was quoted £260 for the call out fee and no further charges if it was fixed within the hour. Someone came out and “fixed” the shutter. I asked him is it definitely fixed and will it happen again? He said it should be ok but if not then that means the motor will need changing. So this didn’t give me much assurance for the £260 I had paid. On Saturday 18th the shutter came up and down perfectly. But today Monday 20th the shutter would not come back down. I called the office and spoke to a lady who told me she would speak to the man who “fixed it” on Friday and see what he says. She called me back and said it was definitely a motor problem and this would cost £534 including VAT and would not be able to be fixed untill tomorrow (Tuesday 22st). I was very distressed as this was a lot of money on top of the £260 I had not long paid for the shutter to be fixed. But had now broke again. I was distressed as I could not and would not leave my salon over night with no shutter securing the window. In this time I was ringing around for other quotes, and a friend of my uncle who had a shutter business finally came out to me at 8:30pm and he did his checks etc and confirmed this is not a motor problem. And it was the fact the shutter had come off the track. I called the lady at the office back to relay this to her to see what could be done as I had paid £260 for this just days ago. The lady was honestly so rude, short, abrupt, spoke to me with no respect, like I was stupid and with no empathy at all, I was very upset at this point and desperate for the shutter to be fixed for the safety of my business. She told me again it was a motor problem even though I had an expert at the salon who confirmed it wasn’t. Thankfully to my uncles friend he was able to fix it there and then and for less than half the price. I am absolutely disgusted with the “lady” on the phone. Not one bit of customer service or empathy at all. I will be taking this further and demanding a refund. This “lady” completely ruins this business and I strongly recommend a6 shutters monitor who is on the receiving end of the phone, especially when people like myself are in distress and just need some help and reassurance. I would not recommend using this company due to the disgrace of service I have received over the phone.

Poor Customer Service, my garage door was repaired which broke down latterly next day again, rang 4 times to customer service to ask for further advice and every time was told that will speak to engineer and get back to you but never happened!
