Abbeycliffe Care Home is a friendly, purpose-built residential home for the elderly. It is situated conveniently close to Radcliffe town in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, Greater Manchester. Public transport services enable our home to be easily accessible and is therefore convenient for commutes from Bury, Bolton and Manchester.Our home has a warm, contemporary ambiance with a touch of character to remind us of our pastimes. We have 40 en-suite bedrooms that are tastefully decorated with bright fittings and furnishings throughout. Our residents also have the option to relax within our communal areas which are equipped with the latest comforts and amenities. The communal areas include two elegantly furnished lounges, a quiet seating area, an on-site hair salon, a large dining room and a bright and airy conservatory overlooking our beautiful gardens.
Abbeycliffe was officially opened by the Mayor of Bury on 12th April 2013 and have since gained a reputation for promoting an excellent standard of care. We are a family run business with over 30 years’ experience in the caring profession.

My mum who is 91 with Mixed dementia went into Abbeycliffe 6 weeks ago, she was lonely, and was sleeping her days away at home and becoming agitated due to lack of stimulation and company, the change in her in just a few weeks is remarkable. She has settled so well, due to the caring staff. She has company and is cared for 24/7 giving us peace of mind. Abbeycliffe is like a home from home, beautifully decorated and presented. The staff can’t do enough for the residents. There is plenty of activities, company with other residents and Mum has come to life again and I’m sure she’ll achieve her goal of reaching Hundred years old. Highly recommend

I was delighted and very happy with the care my elderly Aunt has been receiving. I got a chance to visit her one evening recently. All the residents were in good spirits having their tea. I noticed that the care staff were courteous and displayed a genuine interest in the needs of the residents. The home is well taken care of and the Staff were first class in both their demiour and service delivery. Abbeywood is a little gem and my Aunt feels safe and happy there. Thanks to all.
