Hello, I’m Amy Stone, owner of Stockport and Manchester. I opened in July 2018 and my many years of knowledge and experience in the care industry has helped me understand what it takes to provide the best care.
Our office is based in Heaton Moor, Stockport and we provide home care and live in care to the Heatons, Cheadle, Bramhall, Hazelgrove and the rest of Stockport. We also cover Withington and Altrincham.

I just want to say how pleased our family are with Acacia Stockport. After my elderly father was discharged from hospital, he was cared for initially by a social services package which turned out to be a nightmare for him and my mum. They never knew when the staff would turn up or who it would be. The standard of care was poor, which we all found very stressful and upsetting. After such bad experience we were very wary when we decided to look at alternative care agencies but we were very fortunate to be recommended Acacia Stockport. From the very start Amy and Eileen (who manage the agency) were professional and very understanding of our situation and went out of their way to help us out at very short notice. They assured us the level of care my father would receive would be very different and it certainly has been! What a breathe of fresh air the staff are, the carers are experienced, kind, understanding and extremely patient. Dad is always spoken to with respect, good humour and he looks forward to their visits. Acacia try to keep to the same small group of staff where possible and the rota is sent out in advance which my dad loves as he knows who to expect and when. Communication with Amy and Eileen has also been great, with any queries we raise receiving a timely response and any small issues are smoothed out quickly. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Amy delivers 1st class care and support with trust & integrity. And if you ever get to hear her 'back-story' about why she works in the 'care environment' and subsequently set up her own business you will understand her inner passion & motivation for helping people. And this ethos is also true of the Team who work for her, Amy only employs people with the same values and principles as herself, so you can be assured of the very best service for you or others you know.
