I am a local Driving School business based in Stockport although I work throughout Greater Manchester providing my clients with my years of experience in helping people Learn To Drive. My focus is on instructing you to pass your driving test and also to give you the confidence to join the rest of the road users once you pass your test..
I am a Fully Qualified ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) and I have an extensive knowledge of the Greater Manchester area. At Akys Driving School I enable you to learn in a relaxed and comfortable environment whilst teaching you to drive in a safe and controlled manner.
I understand EVERYONE is different so all my lessons are tailored to suit your requirements. I will teach you at your pace and make sure you get the best driving experience possible in order to build your Driving skills, Observation and Confidence behind the wheel. In addition, I have extensive knowledge of the Test Routes in order to be best prepared for your driving test.

A colleague at work recommended Aky’s driving school to me and it turned out to be the best recommendation I’ve had in a long time. I started my lessons on 6th March, 2023 and continued weekly thereafter. Aky has guided and encouraged me to drive independently. I was nervous a couple of times and made a couple of driving errors here and there but that didn’t stop me. He booked a test for me on 28th June and I passed with just one minor driving fault on my first test. Hard training, easy battle. I am very excited!😄

Top class instructor, very clear with his instructions and aware at all times of lessons. Makes you aware of your errors so you can improve on them without making you feel silly for them. Passed my test 1st time with him after only starting lessons 4 months ago. 10/10 would highly recommend

Passed 1st time with 2 minors! (One of them for jerking the car at the very end of the test..) Aky is a great instructor and teacher. He taught me how to use the car at the pace I was comfortable with, and laid out a great program to cover everything within my 15 lessons with him. Hope all is well Akhtar! :)

Aky is amazing! Just passed today with him. He is so calming and helps you not only pass your test, but become an excellent driver for after you pass. Aky has always taken the time to teach me at my own pace and very much cares about his students. Thanks so much Aky!
