Be warned, rate reviews, read the small print, they work for the first year and keep taking money for the next 4 years. Robbers, Thieves, DO NOT TRUST UPDATE 05/07/2019, In response to my review NO one has contacted me to discuss my issue. Infact, having just paid my second year invoice of £3800, for 2019 I am contacted by Altus to tell me that surveyor has said I should be looking at further discount for 2019/2020. even though I have paid £3800, they would like more money to progress the case. Its funny, when there had been no comments before mine and now people are leaving them. What you will find is that you will get your rebate for the first year (happy days) but then for next 4 years you will get an invoice of 30% plus VAT for work they covered in the first year. People leaving their comments now will leave good feed back, lets see what they say in a years time when they do not get a rebate but still get a large invoice.

Avoid at all costs these people are day light crooks. they do not deliver what they promise too and hit you with hidden charges fabricating a bill for service they don't provide. On top of all this their so called bill continues to be charged at up coming years as they "claim its a proposed saving" who needs to be charged for years that have yet to come !!! that's absurd USE OTHER Respectable COMPANIES AVOID ALTUS GROUP ! signing with them is the biggest mistake I made so do not repeat mine BE WARNED.

Signed up under pressurised sales tactics from a sales person. When I decided not to go ahead because of the work required from me and the small chance of a return I was told that I was liable for a £500 charge. So I completed the process and guess what? No rebate. I am still being contacted by them asking for information, taking up yet more of my time. Total time wasters. And now I'm angry enough to waste even more of my time writing this. Ironic eh. I hate to think what standards RICS expect from their members... Update. Thanks for replying to this review. However for the record, you didn't just try to contact me following my review, someone got in touch long after you'd failed to get a rebate asking for a copy of the lease, which you'd already had.

I have no idea how business rates work and thankfully Dean at Altus Group is an expert and sorted out the issue we had with the Council whereby they were incorrectly charging us for past years in relation to transitional relief. It was a long process (probably due to covid-19) but Dean stuck with it and finally the Council agreed with the Altus calculations. I highly recommend Altus for dealing with business rates matters.

we had altus come & inspect 2 of our office spaces. although a very lengthy process, the outcome was worthwhile. They assign account managers to keep you updated throughout with regular contact which we appreciated, our current account manager is Ben. Very reputable company & I highly recommend
