Eating at the Boat & Horses was great as there is a good choice of gluten free for coeliacs. Great attention was made when ordering by the staff to ensure gluten free was adhered to. The service was great & the food either ordered from the menu or the carvery is highly recommended. I will be eating there again & have recommended it to other friends.

We stopped for a beer. We didn't know about this restaurant. A decent size with plenty of tables both inside and outside. A good selection of beer and food. Even though it is located near the highway and shops it seems to be a quiet and pleasant place, possibly because of the canal that passes by.

Very nice food, good atmosphere and service. We did have to wait a while for the food but they were very busy as it was cup final day but the food was hot and very nice. The only negative was we ordered ice cream and when it arrived it had started to melt quite considerably had the ice cream been brought sooner I would have given it 5 out of 5

Overnight stay following on from a fanily wedding. Could not fault our stay. Clean well appointed room. Great nights sleep. Enjoyed £10 of meal voucher in restaurant. Great breakfast. Really great experience. Highly recommend

Not greatest of places but cheap and cheerful I guess. Nice big Yorkshire puds. Carvery a all u can eat so you should already know what your getting before you walk in the place.
