You can feel confident we will look after the person who has died with care, dignity and respect from the moment we bring them into our care until the day of the funeral. We will carefully follow your wishes and make sure any personal possessions are kept safely with them. You’re welcome to visit them, just ask your funeral director. Essential funerals Sometimes all you need is the essentials. Our essential funeral is a simple and lower-cost option suitable for those who want to keep costs down, or if the person who died wanted a simpler send off. Essential funerals Tailored funerals Our tailored funeral means you’re able to decide exactly what’s included in the funeral arrangement. From a horse-drawn hearse to a favourite colour theme, tell us what you want and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Tailored funerals Direct cremation A direct cremation is a low-cost, straightforward cremation with no service, mourners or ceremony. This means you can celebrate the person's life in a time and place that's best for you. Direct cremation Direct cremation Direct burial A direct burial is when someone is buried with no mourners present and no service. It’s a low-cost alternative that lets you remember the person in your own way and in your own time. Direct burial Direct burial You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years. There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply. To all the management and staff at C Taylor funeral care (coop) Just letting you know what a great sad but happy day we all had yesterday. Yourselves plus all the other staff were all so helpful, kind and professional, on the day and from the start, from enquiry to booking and planning, it was first class. Everyone we spoke to had nothing but praise for you all and your great planning without making us feel under any pressure and the lovely calm way you helped us in taking mum into the chapel everything was done so sensitively. It was a sad day to say goodbye to our mum but you massively helped in making it a happy celebration of her life. Thank you also for recommending the celebrant she was also wonderful sensitive and so thoughtful with her words. My Father passed away in June 2021 and we engaged C Taylor Funeral Director’s to arrange the funeral proceeding on behalf of my family. From our first phone call until the day of the funeral Taylors looked after all the arrangement and treated us all with the upmost respect. I am sorry to say that I agree with the previous comment. The whole firm is messy, and chaotic. There is no control, no direction. I felt very let down by the staff here, which has caused great upset to the family. There seems to be no regard for tradition or doing this right, feels very money grabbing. Though who can say where that money is being spent.
