I would think twice about going with this company. They did bad job in fitting the carpets and once carpet was laid I discovered Three stains in Two of the rooms. I discovered i couldn't shut my on suit bathroom and they was going to leave like that. My walls on the stairs had foot prints. I just wasn't impressed. This was a brand new home. When I complained, they came over and checked the work and agreed it wasn't a good job ,so offered to replace all the carpets apart from the stairs, which was frayed at the edge. I live in London so I told them I wouldn't be able to check straight after the work had been done, so i asked for refund on the carpets as they was going to be replaced anyway. They got funny with me and they said, no. They said there was only a few mistakes. See you yourselves.

I went to Carmilla carpets as could cover both mine and my sisters property. My sisters house was a complete fit we had gone in chosen the carpets for each room and agreed a fitting date. On the day of the fitting the 2 fitters started physically fighting in the house and left. The older one told my sister he would be back on Monday. He had not told the shop. He didn’t show and they sent out another fitter to complete the work. to do the upstairs bedrooms. When they came to fit these were just stuck down with glue. Apparently this will last 2 years which I thought was fine as offcuts were a short term fix. I also had them do the living room and hall stairs and landing in a good quality carpet whilst reusing the existing underlay and gripper rods as these were only 18 months old. The living room £500 for a piece of carpet 12’x12’ the lad who came out to fit stretched it in place and fitted it well. The hall stairs and landing were done by a different pair of fitters £560 for the carpet. No stretcher used and they have glued it to the rubber underlay. I am going to get someone to check it’s safe being a stair carpet. The ground floor is a solid floor so they can’t attach the door guards. I now have to get someone to drill and plug some holes so the for guards can be fitted. Carmilla are competitive on price but get a reputable fitter to fit your carpets. In total £3730 spent and still need to get fitting sorted. V Platt

We had an extension carried out and asked for the carpet to be fitted in two stages. The first stage, absolutely no issues. The second stage, the carpet fitted was wrong (different quality) which was party my fault as I didn’t double check an order I signed. I was extremely concerned reading some negative reviews that I would be in for some sort of battle. Really far from that. They came round, looked at the carpet and agreed it was different. They agreed I wouldn’t have meant to order two separate quality carpets and an error somewhere has happened. Within 7 days, returned putting the premium quality carpet down at the same initial cost. Cannot fault there service, speed or conflict resolution. My family have always used these so I should have never doubted their skills with online reviews

Would Not recommend. End result was very poor. Came back out to try and remove creases and advised that the stairs would need to be 're laid. Instead of this, they cut two peices of different carpet that looks similar (must have had it in the shop as cut offs) and used this to patch the stairs up. They said the carpet may look a little different because it's new, so was the rest of the carpet! It's shocking, clearly different and an overall poor job.

Very helpful staff very friendly helped me pick a carpet and being fitted very quickly very good price. Bought stairs and bedroom carpet from this company many many years ago glad they still up and running
