I wanted to take the time to say a great big thank you to you and the team at Cheshire Removals for helping us with such a stressful and last minute move on August 12th. You were wonderful over the phone and the team that came to help us could not have been nicer or more helpful. We really appreciated all that your company did for us and have happily recommended you to other friends about to move.

used the company a few years ago, but popped on google account now, so thought to write my review. I used this company for an storage and removals. I had a long distance to move to, for I had to use their storage too for a few days before I could make the final move to my place of residence. First of all it wasn't cheap and rather expensive but looked at the reviews here and was fooled to think this would be the best (but couldn't be more wrong) First of all they tried to charge me an extra £700 pounds because i was moving items from the storage to new place, because I chose a date on a weekend. I had very detailed and lengthy chats and conversation about my move and this was something that was never mentioned to me before. When they did move my things, our deal was to move and assemble the furniture. They came over assembled two beds only, said "they were leaving and will come back tomorrow and assemble the remaining furniture" In the morning I had taken the day off work but when it clocked 10:30 in the morning, and I called them their response was they had to leave and come back. They did see that I had a crawling baby and a very curious toddler at home, but they were quite happy to lie to me in my face, and leave all of the heavy unassembled furniture with the nails pointing out of them in our rooms, with little children running and crawling around it. Their attitude was disgusting and their service was down right appalling. Whatever I say is in this comment is less. my experience - absolutely dreadful! 05/2024. Again the response popped on my page and caught my attention. Because I cant add a thread, I am going to write it down here. I understand the recollection may be different, but having done only 2 moves life so far. My recollection is very clear, primarily for how awful that day was, isn't easy to forget. There was some correspondence via email, but a great part of my correspondence was via phone. I am sure you would agree the intricacies and detail of a house move across country can not be done via a few emails only. The address change that you speak off, I had informed your team months ago. In January when my moved was scheduled for the end of March. The new address was in the same county and only 20 minutes away. If anything it was closer if one were coming from Cheshire. I don't see how that would have been an issue and neither was this ever mentioned to me when I spoke about it months ago. The day the team came over to deliver, in the morning I was told they would do as it was agreed. "Deliver and assemble all furniture". At the end of the day before leaving I was told they would over again in the morning. There was no mention of any restrictions. The next day whilst i was kept waiting, and wasn't until midday that I found out that no one was coming, which was only after I had called. Found the whole experience very unprofessional. We all knew of the move months ahead, if there were any restrictions, how come you only found about them only on the day you arrived for me to then have to rearrange for assembly. How poor is that! You are right in saying i was refunded for non assembly of two beds. Well actually the beds were the only thing assembled and the major wardrobes sofas desks etc were all left for us to deal with when this was all agreed to assemble. The cheques that you speak of, I put threw them where they belonged, In the bin!! For the simple reason I had not payed close to £4000 to get a cheque worth £70 at the end I did so with the hopes that I would have peace of mind. But instead what I got was unassembled heavy wardrobes and furniture, with nails sticking out and a crawling baby to look after in that environment. The assembly team could very well see all that but chose to ignore it and leaving me to deal with everything. I did find the pictures on my computer which i have attached for you to see what you left me with! I did voice my dissatisfaction, but was only directed to the same people and emails which had handled my move. Which inspired no confidence

The stress of moving is bad enough, but Cheshire Removals helped to take some of it away. The team arrived early than expected and shown them what was going. No problem was their reply and cracked on with the job. Luckily we took out the full insurance package because we didn't get the keys till 4.25pm. All our items were unloaded with in an hour and placed in the correct rooms. Yes it was more than we were thinking it might cost, but worth every penny. From.the initial phone call to the men leaving.... well done.

Absolutely amazing! Communication from Janet was fantastic from the initial quote. The lads arrived earlier than expected which was brilliant and then it was straight to loading it onto the lorry. They were very careful with all our things and helped us packed the huge TV into the box. Their price was very reasonable and you can choose what is required. They were also very quick at unloading it at our new property with additional lads helping. Top service and thank you so much to the team in making our move as stress free as possible. I’d definitely recommend them.

Could not recommend enough. Amazing service start to finish. Absolutely worth the money. My items were packed and unpacked safely, no damages, and really quickly. The guys wouldn’t let me lift a finger to help. They made sure the items went in to the correct rooms and they re-assembled my bed and sofa perfectly

We had a great experience recently with Cheshire Removals. From the outset, their team was the highly professionalism and extremely friendly, making what could have been a stressful day surprisingly easy. Not only did they offer a very competitive price, but their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our specific needs were great. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in need of a hassle-free and efficient moving experience.
