Booking Terms
No animal will be allowed admittance if showing any signs of ill-health.
Viewing times are strictly 11am – 3pm daily – no appointment necessary.
Our charges are per-day, including day of arrival and departure, unless pets are collected prior to 10am. This allows our clients to choose times convenient for them.
Our local Vet is on call during opening hours and we have access to an emergency Vet.
We operate in a very respectful and responsible manner at all times and owners appreciate that our protocols are enforced to safeguard the health (and welfare) of all pets boarding with us.
We are unable to accept any pet without proof of their up to date vaccinations (including kennel cough for dogs). In absence of your pet(s) vaccination card, we will contact your vet for their confirmation over the phone – please bring along your vets telephone no. on your arrival.
Male cats over the age of 6 months MUST BE NEUTERED before admission to our cattery is allowed.
Please note: We only accept cash or card payments. We no longer accept Cheques or American Express.
Kennel Cough
Anywhere that dogs congregate is possible for kennel cough (canine bronchitis) to be passed on. Kennels with a rapid turnover of guests can be particularly susceptible. We ask that all dogs are vaccinated against this virus and any dogs coughing or showing any signs of ill health on arrival, will not be allowed to board.
Kennel cough vaccination HAS to have been administered at least 3 WEEKS prior to boarding with us – no dog will be allowed admittance unless 3 weeks has elapsed. Protection now lasts for a year, so it is easy to renew when your dog has their annual booster.
All medications are accurately adhered to and administered free of charge. However, we only offer this service strictly between 8am and 5pm.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept animals that require insulin injections.
It is acceptable to bring along your own food or bedding, but we DO NOT allow any large or bulky bedding, duvets, pillows, sleeping bags or bean bags as we are unable to wash these sizes of items.

I use the secure field regularly. Its perfect for your dogs to release some energy in a very safe and secure environment. The use of the agility equipment is a definite bonus. The field and other areas are kept to a very high standard with fresh water for the dogs and seating area for yourselves is provided. Perfect for a doggy date.

A wonderful place run by Barbara and her family, along with her wonderful team. Two great dog fields as well to hire by the half hour for exercising or agility training for your dogs. The cattery is also very clean and well kept. Can’t praise Clarks Hill highly enough.

I Took my dog (Earl) here for the first time and I can honestly say he was so looked after, my dog is very nervous of new environments but the staff here was very patient loving and caring towards him. He has come home very happy, the kennels are absolutely spotlessly clean, he was walked regularly and he has come home in 1st class condition I would never use any other kennels than Clark hill 5 star all the way

This kennel staff and owners care about your dogs and genuinely remembers them from one year to another. Very clean with excellent prices duscount for more than 1 dog.. Full choice of wet and dry food for your dog, at no extra cost. Collect before 10am on pick-up day and you don't get charged for that day. Tried loads over the past years and non live up to their standards and care.

Been taking our dog here for over 2 years now when we go on holiday. Friendly and caring staff and always accommodating. Wouldnt take him anywhere else now he's always happy when we pick him up.
