As a regular guest at Copthorne Hotel in Salford Quays, I can confidently say that their breakfast experience never disappoints. Love the Club rooms and the little added touches with the hotel - refillable water station, heated bathroom floor, one free drinks voucher during your stay and parking validated. Room was very clean as well and bed was comfy.

Stayed here for the Manchester marathon and it was ideal. The room was good for a budget hotel, perfect location and fantastic value- cheaper than the usual chain hotels. Some bits of the hotel were looking tired but our room had been refurbished in the last year apparently and was fine. The best aspect were the staff who were really friendly and helpful. I brought my bike so I could go cycling while my wife ran the marathon and the staff were happy to let me bring the bike into the room for safe keeping (I resisted the urge to ride it down the corridors). Breakfast was good too, especially appreciated the bacon with crispy edges; not like the flaccid stuff you usually get at a buffet breakfast. Hopefully they can get the rest of the refurbishment done as it's a very good hotel.

Good location but not a 4 star more a 3. Very outdated. We had 2 Club Rooms both having damage to furniture and bathroom tiles. Very clean but cleaners can only do so much to try and make a room look better. In desperate need of refurbishment. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly.

Beware of getting car parking fine despite you entered your car registration number into the system. A very nice location, walking distance to the Central Bay which is a food court with a lot of cuisines. I booked as a MyMillennium member in order to take advantage of the credit to use in the restaurant but was told my the worker that there is no such stuff → False Advertisement.
