In 2009 we first had the idea to build a Cattery. Having cats of our own we visited many catteries in the hope of finding somewhere that we would feel happy leaving them when we went away on holiday but could not find the home from home enironment we were looking for.
After 2 years of research and taking advice from Animal Welfare we came up with a design and in February 2011 Cuddles Cattery opened its doors for business.
Our cattery is luxurious, modern and built to the highest standards and has over the years been copied but never rivalled.
Each cat that visits us for their holiday is treated with the same love, care and attention that we give to our own cats and we are commited to making their stay here at Cuddles a happy and relaxed experience for both our cats and their owners.

We checked Pumpkin into Cuddles Cattery for 3 nights over the bank holiday. He stayed in the Lion King suite (adorable) and was treated like a king. We received photos and updates on how he was getting on and never worried about him settling once. Thank you so much for looking after our baby. We will certainly be recommending you and visiting again.

My partner and I have used Cuddles Cattery on a few occasions now for our cat Sylvie, and I can honestly say I would not use any other cattery, even if they offered not to charge me haha! Steve and Gale have created such a great environment for cats, and the facilities available are second to none. Each cat has its own private space, and there is even a catio (which Sylvie loves). Steve and Gale are also very attentive to the needs of each cat individually (so no need to worry if your cat requires medication or has dietary requirements), and nothing seems too much trouble for them. They will even send you updates about your cat whilst your away 😁 I would encourage anyone who has the need of a cattery to look no further than Cuddles Cattery! Big thanks to Steve and Gale for their amazing service!

Cuddles Cattery did a great job of looking after our two cats. Our cats are young - just under a year old - and it was their first time staying in a cattery. The accommodation for the cats is quiet, secluded even, clean and peaceful. No kennels on site seems like a plus. The owners are cat lovers, whose own cats are definitely living the good life, and they clearly know what they’re doing. They’ll give food of your choice, provide updates on how the cats are doing and take the time to learn about any particular needs they have. Communication was good, questions answered and we’d happily leave our cats there again.

I would highly recommend Cuddles Cattery. Gail and Steve are really lovely, they let me go to visit the cattery and have a look round prior to me making the booking. They answered and questions or queries and sent me photos and updates to let me know how my cat, Phoebe was getting on whilst I was away. I will definitely be using Cuddles Cattery next time I go on holiday. Knowing my cat is safe and being well looked after brings great peace of mind. Thank you for looking after her! Xx

Steve and Gail are fantastic hosts and have a great setup for cats to stay in comfort at Cuddles Cattery. We used them for a short break recently before a bigger stay for our cat later this year, we got text updates on how she was getting on and you can tell she was really well looked after. All the cats rooms are modern, clean and spacious with individual ‘play time’ for each cat to explore and us the ‘catio’. Highly recommended 👍🏼
