Fantastic gym with brilliant staff. Lots to do for the kids and plenty of class choice for adults. The gym floor is well equipped and the trainers are knowledgeable and friendly but not at all pushy. The facilities are always clean. Cafe has a lovely selection of food and drinks. Pool has recently been refurbished and is lovely and the kids swimming instructors at fab.

Has a lot to offer but the the club room is ridiculous!! So under staffed and unorganised. Every time I have ordered food or drink it’s always wrong and when you approach staff about it they have a negative attitude towards you. Domestic staff going in and out of the kitchen with there gloves on they use for cleaning 🤢 any staff serving food and manager running around like a head less chicken. Seriously needs to to be looked into and organised especially for the price of the membership

Since David Lloyd's Manchester North, and I must say, it has been a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The gym itself is top-notch, with a wide range of equipment to suit all fitness levels and goals. Whether you're looking to lift weights, run on the treadmill, or take a spin class, there's something for everyone. What really sets David Lloyd's apart, though, is the sense of community. The gym hosts regular events and activities, from yoga classes to social nights, that make it easy to meet and connect with other members. It's a great way to stay motivated and engaged in your fitness journey. Overall, I would highly recommend David Lloyd's gym to anyone looking for a positive, supportive, and effective fitness experience.

The club as a whole is okay. And the staff are good. But for the £101 a month I pay, the gym needs to be completely overhauled. The equipment is very old anytime fitness equipment and is rusting away. The gym is often dirty with hair on the floor etc. The swimming pool overhaul seems good. The club needs phase 2 overhaul to be the gym. It also needs to be made clearer to everyone that the age limit for children is 10. I brought my 7 year old there during the holidays but was told by a manager he can't be in there and was asked to leave. Yet the following week, there are kids under 10 in there. People don't know the policy. Some of those that do just ignore it. So stronger leadership from the staff in the gym is required.

This is the most me and my family have gone to a gym and that’s because of the atmosphere and friendliness of other members! A real family friendly feel & it’s great to see all shapes, sizes & fitness levels walking in. like everything there is pros and cons! Pros: -Class variety -Friendly staff -Great instructors/trainers -Family vibe -good food choices on the menu -Lots of activities for younger kids Cons: - Class timings (certain classes aren’t on in evenings/weekends so if you work 9-5 can be tricky to attend) -Food in the fridge can be a little lacklustre if you want something to grab and go - minimal activities for older kids that aren’t shared with younger - swimming pool ladders, would have been better with steps..
