Used frequently for work and always have a good stay. The staff go above and beyond, the restaurant on site is fantastic and it has a lovely atmosphere in general. Only little downside would be like pretty much all hotels now, the lighting in each room is pretty much all lamps so if you're spending daytime in there it can be a little dingy if you don't have the biggest window but that's really nitpicking. Leave extra time if travelling during rush hour as well because the road outside gets very very busy.

Used frequently for work and always have a good stay. The staff go above and beyond, the restaurant on site is fantastic and it has a lovely atmosphere in general. I stayed here as part of a Bonvoy experience day. Great hospitality here and food at breakfast/dinner decent with a lot of good options. Rooms don’t seem to have climate control (just a fan) so do be mindful that it will get a little hot in the summer months if staying. Thanks!

Beautiful hotel. Some aspects of rooms a bit tired eg bathroom but didn't spoil the experience. I did find an empty pack of biscuits in my room when I checked in so clearly the cleaning staff didn't clean properly. Breakfast and facilities are very good. I recommend staying here and would stay again.

Myself and a friend drove up from the south to play a couple of rounds of golf. Not the courses fault, but absolutely noway it should have been open due to the amount of rain there had been, it clearly wasn't a option for the ground staff to go out and cut the course. It was obvious that they clearly just wanted to take the money for the rounds we'd paid for. We ended up spending time looking for good shots in the fairways that were buried into them due to the softness and the damp ground which ended up with us really disliking the round and vowing never to go back. Only play when there has been no torrential rain and the course has be cared for. Totally understand there's not much the staff could have done, but no one seemed to care about the complaints.
