Duffy & Turner

We used Duffy & Turner to replace a staircase and carry out other building works within our home. The price was very competitive, and the work was carried out to an extremely high standard and in a timely manner. Highly recommended. (Reviewed March 2021) I contacted John to carry out some work at my elderly mother's house in Hyde. It's very important to me that anyone working at my mother's house arrives when they say they will as I live 200 miles away and either I or another family member has to be there as my mother is deaf and vulnerable. My cousin arranged for the quotation visit and John arrived exactly when he said he would and was very thorough with his inspection of the work and gave a clear explanation to my cousin. The quote was then sent to me as requested. John and I then agreed a date and time for the work to be carried out and I made the 200 mile journey to meet him. John and his colleague arrived on time and despite the inclement weather they got on with the job which took 2 days to complete as advised, including the repair of 2 small roof leaks which became apparent during the course of the job. The work was done to a high standard and the area was left clean and tidy. John and his colleagues treated myself and my mother with respect and consideration throughout (along with a bit of good humour and banter) and I would definitely use them again.
