Fantastic service from Michael here on Easter weekend. A strange sound started up before a long drive so we popped in to get it checked. Within 10 minutes he'd found the issue. He filled up the power steering fluid and topped the oil up for free! Brilliant :)

Booked in a service and MOT here and it went very smoothly. My first time having to get this done and everyone was very friendly and helpful, making sure to explain what had been done. I feel very lucky to have such a good experience for my first time taking a car in. Thank you very much!

Dangerous place to book in for MOT, Service and Wheel Alignment. We have been Halfords customers for 3 years with no issues, until we visited this garage due to moving area. They lied and said they completed the Wheel Alignments and I drove it home, pregnant and knew instantly this has not been completed. Ironic how they printed out an invoice for the MOT and Service in front of me, but suddenly the printer doesn't work for the wheel alignment chart! They sent us a random screenshot of someone else's car with readings! I had to drive an unsafe care whilst pregnant. Do not come to this garage. Completely disgusted and appalled with this garage and Halfords. Over £300 spent and they don't care about their customers or their safety. Outraged.

Check your receipt for hidden products added without your permission. Left car in for MOT first thing in the morning and immediately they tried to sell me a fuel cleaning product which will help with emissions test apparently. I refused the upsell. I was called a few hours later to advise car had failed due to a tyre but there was a list of other advisories (none of which were highlighted a month earlier when car was with main dealer for service and health check). Of course they were keen to fix all the advisories but I asked just for the tyre to be replaced. Quoted a price by phone and agreed. A few hours later again I realised I had been given no indication of how long the work would take. Called up for an estimate as was abruptly told we will call you when its ready. Having received no such call, I headed back shortly before closing time to find a large queue of people waiting to collect their own cars. As they rushed through the queue, had a panic when they couldnt find my keys (they eventually found them in the public reception sitting where anyone could have lifted them), took payment for the tyre then advised my receipt would be emailed. When I got home, I discovered on the emailed receipt that the tyre was actually not the price quoted, but they had included an optional extended warranty/insurance policy. Obviously asked for this to be refunded which they agreed to. Couldn't get me off the phone quick enough so unsure why they are misselling insurance policies but all I got was "sorry about that.' Needless to say I no longer trust them to carry out any future work for me.

Excellent and friendly service, especially Mark was very accommodating and polite. Highly recommended. I had my first mot done on my vehicle. Forgot to mention Roy the mot tester... Very helpful.
