My first visit to Heaton Moor Fish Bar travelling from Didsbury. Excellent fish and chips. Cheerful staff and no delays in being served. Chips just the way I like them. Not too thick. When did they become a 'thing'?

Visited today with the wife and we both had fish, chips and mushy peas, which were lovely and served in nice cardboard boxes. Could have done with a touch more vinegar but it's a minor criticism. Would happily visit again! EDIT: got to knock a star off. Made a point of asking for plastic forks for our fish, chips and mushy peas. Drove a couple of miles to a nice spot to eat them, but found there were no forks in the bag!! Was absolutely fuming 😡

We specifically drive in to this chippy passing a few closer ones on our way because this one just makes the best food. Fish is always and fresh and the chips delicious. Great place.
