When talking about being near the stadium this hotel is perfect!!! You are literally right by Old Trafford no car is needed. Then the other downtown area is only a short walk across the water. Room: This hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and up to date. What we did not appreciate was that there was a giant banner placed in front of our window. At no point were we advised we’d have an obstructed view. We were traveling on our honeymoon and to see our first Man U game. I do wish they would’ve discounted this room or at least advised us. Photo attached for reference. On top of that when I booked our room it was a high price and I booked the flexible rate just in case of cancellation. I wanted to add 2 nights later on and found the rate had went down significantly. When I contacted the hotel they only added the 2 nights at the lower rate and would not price match my original nights at the new rate so I ended up cancelling the whole stay and just doing it myself. As someone in the travel industry this is an easy fix and I’m not sure why it couldn’t be done on their end? Service: The service in the cafe was amazing!! Whether we went for breakfast or a drink later on. The front desk however was not great. When checking in we weren’t given any information on breakfast or anything really. On game day they completely locked the lobby so when it was down pouring we couldn’t even get back in to the hotel we paid to stay at and were told to go elsewhere. Any time we walked in we were just stared at, no greeting or anything.

I'm not a Manchester United fan. I stayed here because it was convenient for the Trafford centre. Not a match day, so quiet and well priced. Excellent breakfast. Very nice bar. Rooms decent. The reception and foyer area is drab in comparison to the rest of the place and feels like a Travel Lodge. Definitely think the rest of it is so much better.

Good place to stay. Very nice and clean hotel. Great staff. Location is also good and accessible from everywhere. Links of buses and trams are available to go anywhere. Always have a nice stay experience here. You need to be a bit clever while booking because, closer to match days, it is super expensive. So early booking is recommended if you know your dates.

We are general soccer fans, not Man United - but loved our stay here. Staff went above and beyond (shout out to Rachel at the front desk!). Beds super comfy. Loved the restaurant, too. Great breakfast and good fish fry for dinner. Parking fairly easy and not bad to get around otherwise.

As a United fan it was a lovely experience, the room was nice and clean. The hotel staff were friendly. I was gutted I missed Gary Neville turning up to his hotel for breakfast! One suggestion would be to let people know that the contents in the mini bar, in the room, are complimentary as this was a nice gesture but we didn't know about this until we checked out. We were waiting to be charged for one item we took from the mini bar then be told it was complimentary.
