Hough Farm is an excellent yard. The stable we were given was lovely and large, the facilities are fantastic with an indoor and an outdoor school, and the owners are knowledgeable and friendly. Hacking from the yard is on quiet bridle ways and roads, and the countryside is lovely. There is an option for part livery, summer grazing is good and the owners Tom and Simone really care about the horses on the yard. We have really enjoyed our time on Hough Farm, and only wish it was closer to our house - if it was we would never have moved!

A lovely yard with great owners. Simone and Tom are very approachable and always have time for you. Having an indoor, outdoor and hacking from the farm is wonderful with the bonus of fabulous views when riding in the outdoor.

We absolutely love this place. The owners are so lovely, accommodating, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They are always there to help if needed. The ponies are so sweet. Very well looked after. The schools are great. Everything is at hand. I could not ask for a better place if I’m honest. I would definitely have my horse stabled here!!

Originally we moved here a year ago and was over the moon with the amount of space and how friendly everyone was. During the course of this year, we noticed how myself and a couple of other people were being treated differently. One rule for one, and another rule for someone else. The lack of communication between the owners is detrimental to their buisness. We've been shouted at and walked away from when trying to have the simplest of conversations. Its a shame because this yard has such potential. Avoid at all costs if you wanna pay extortionate prices for shavings and loaning!!

I loaned a pony on hough farm 13 years ago when i was only a young teenager, i only gave this up due to personal reasons. When my children then expressed an interest in horses last year i decided there was no better place than to go back where i had spent years with horses. So in oct/nov 2021 i went to visit the yard to be surprised that they still have all the amazing facilities as they used to and very welcoming to myself, my husband and 4 children. We now have 3 loan horses with tom and simone and would even think about looking at another farm, from day 1 they have made us feel welcome and would go above and beyond for anyone, few rules to abide by but this is only for peoples and the horses safety while on the yard, totally acceptable rules. I hope to be spending many more years here on this lovely yard :)
