My wife and I made an appointment last week and attended today to have our first eye test in some years. The initial visit last week put us at ease. The lady on reception was very pleasant, helpful and had a welcoming manner. Today was - eye tests. The opthalmologist was very thorough and helpful. He gave us a full explanation of what was needed and why. I have personally had many, many eye tests through work and always felt there was an element of sales about the experience. This was not the case - just straightforward advice. His assistant sorted out "sports" glasses for myself, plus some driving glasses. My eyesight is up to driving standard, but when you see the difference proper glasses made it became and easy decision. The lady on Reception helped my wife in choosing a pair of driving and reading glasses. She did not steer her in the direction of the dearer frames, but helped my wife choose two pairs that suited. The whole experience was stress free and we were never pressured into buying from that store or buying more expensive versions. Leaving aside the excellent, friendly, professional staffing, we were very pleasantly surprised at the very, very reasonable cost. In two years time we will return for an updated test. I wish to place on record our appreciation for a first class service.

Fantastic Opticians, actually the BEST I've ever visited. Given excellent service from walking in to leaving. I was recommended for Cataract surgery and after having both eyes done my life has changed, for the better. A huge thank you to all of great staff at Morrisons Whitefield. xxx

I had an appointment at your Hillsborough branch in Sheffield this morning for an eye test and I was particularly impressed with the level customer care from the lady I booked the appointment with. In addition, the customer adviser manager (Bajwa) was outstanding in dealing me after having had my eye test. I don't normally send emails of this nature but felt it necessary on this occasion given the superb level of customer service from your employees.

I have just had an eyesight test and purchased a pair of glasses and have to say what an exceptional service I received. From booking to leaving, the professionalism shown was outstanding. I received a call yesterday to remind me of the appointment. I was dealt with immediately on arrival. The girls on the reception were friendly and helpful and the optician was brilliant. I would highly recommend and just sorry I haven't used them previously.
