Great little park cafe and especially after our Saturday Park Run! Best bacon & egg butty I've had for a long time. The staff are such nice ladies! Very welcoming indeed! 😁

I went to Java after parkrun with a couple of park running friends. It was recommended by the team at Hyde parkrun and I can see why. There’s a really good range of food and drink available, and the prices are very reasonable indeed. We each had a really tasty, freshly baked pain au raisin, and one friend had the scrambled eggs on toast. This, along with three hot drinks, came in under £14. The service was first class, and they kindly replace one of the drinks I managed to spill. There’s only limited seating inside, but plenty of space outside. Highly recommended.

Not a good coffee if you know your flat whites. Gave this a second shot after being already disappointed the first time by the flat white. Months had passed and I was desperate for a good cuppa. Thought I would give it another go because I wanted to give benefit of the doubt. Coffee was extremely bitter, undrinkable! I tried and was forced to give it back! Maybe if you have a latte or cappuccino where you get quite a lot of milk it’s ok but if you charge flat white price and have a « proper » machine ( instead of just a « button »one) then you should be able to offer the service and the skills required for a flat white. I’m sick and tired to try to get flat whites from coffee shops that can’t make it and have the audacity to charge the price. I don’t mind being charged more if you know how to steam the milk properly or perform latte art. But charge more for what seems to me it is making a small latte.. that doesn’t make sense! Do not get flat whites here if you know what a flat white should be like. Get a very milky coffee that doesn’t require any skills you’ll be fine!

Situated at the main gates of a beautiful park, a great stop off for a drink or bite to eat whilst in the park, they are open year round and have seating indoors and out ( don't expect to escape the cold in winter its just as cold inside!) They have toilets and are wheel chair accessible. Basic menu but the food is good and prices fair, staff are always nice also!
