I have been attending this practice formerly Malony's. for a number of years. I have always been happy with the service. I am happy to say that since the change in ownership to Johnson and Leatherbarrow, standards have been maintained. All the people working there are helpful, efficient and friendly. I have received thorough eye checks and everything was explained at each stage, I have no reservations recommending this business.

A super friendly and professional family run business. Using the latest technology for my eye care, I always leave here feeling that my eyecare is in the best hands. On the way in i was greeted by Michelle with a smile and friendly/polite manner, then I was seen by Becky the optician this time; very professional and answered all my questions during the eye exam, putting my concerns at rest with her knowledge. Choosing glasses and contact lenses was made easy by Lauren and Kelly, again both are very professional and friendly. Overall i now enjoy wearing prescription glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. Thank you to everyone at Johnson Leatherbarrow. I will not be going anywhere else.

Positive experience at my appointment. My only concern had it not been that i was off work on annual leave on the Wednesday morning i rang to make an appointment, this meant i could accept the cancellation for that afternoon, i would have struggled to get any appointment. I initially asked for an appointment for a Monday or Saturday my days off and i was informed that would not be possible to for a while as no free appointments, i was informed I was not the only one struggling to get an appointment. What is being done to rectify this situation? Will i have the same situation next year?

I highly recommend their excellent service. The staff and optometrists were not only friendly and professional but also provided clear explanations and ensured peace of mind throughout the experience.

My first visit to this optician and I was seriously impressed. The optician Rebecca explained things really well and gave me some really helpful advice on eye care with no sales push to buy a load of products from them. The eye test felt an awful lot more accurate than the big chain opticians I've gone to for the last 20 years - I could actually see perfectly though the final lenses whereas normally it's not nearly that good. The woman who helped me choose frames was also really helpful and gave me good advice with no pressure to buy straight away - again, very different from most big chains.
