The Mantkd Family
Mantkd is a member of British Taekwondo and associated to the World Taekwondo organisation (WT) of Korea, which encompasses a multitude of people around the world and are proud to be part of that international body. Though we are a small number of clubs our links to national and international organisations, masters and events gives us that dynamic features that helps us train you to be 'the best that you can be'. You can be assured of our professional instructors whom have been trained and vetted by British Taekwondo.
Why choose Taekwondo
Many martial arts claim to be the 'best' or the most effective either in, self defence or street fighting or fitness. Taekwondo is continually evolving, from its ancients Korean martial arts root of 'Taek kyon' to its modern olympic style. So why TKD! quite simple: It suits all ages, genders, abilities and is easy to learn, plus a great cross trainer for other martial arts. Once you have membership, which is currently £25 with British Taekwondo (see below.) Purchase yourself a Dobok (uniform) You can approach any instructor at any club and they will be able to give you advice on situational techniques, such as self defence or how to exercise. My children love going to this local club. Been going for around 2 years. The club has great instructors and the children are doing great, moving from one belt to another. They have improve in their overall fitness and confidence. The club also provide opportunities to complete on a national level if thats what you want. Keep up the great work guys!!

Awesome club. There online zoom sessions are really active and engaging. They really do push you beyond your limits. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to have some fun, improve their fitness and/or learn amazing skills and combat techniques in this fantastic Korean martial art style.

Great club. They have a huge potential & are growing exponentially. Looking to your kids to the next level in taekwondo, this is the club for you. Even if adults can take part and learn a lot from the experienced coaches they have. Keep up the good work.

My children regularly attend Saturday session for two years. Great atmosphere with excellent teachers. Children have learnt so much and love to go to Mantkd.
