Great customer service: really went the extra mile to find the correct replacement part, which was a very specific driver's door mirror assembly. Special thanks go to Karen for regular updates, and to her boss, Daniel for finding the correct mirror. Very friendly and more than helpful. Mirror assembly carefully packed and delivered in pristine condition. Great price too. Fitted: it works a treat. Many thanks for all your efforts. Honestly went in for 2 bolts for my mini and a lady on the desk was so helpful and passed me to a lad called Lewis, What a top lad and will go out of his way to help and not afraid to get stuck in, credit to have him working for you, tried his best under the car to try and sort it for me, he didn’t even have too. Top guy and would highly recommend Minitech spares

Rang up for some bits. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful and knew her stuff. Went to collect and bits were ready at the counter and two of the lads helped me load my van. 10/10.

My wife's Mini Countryman developed the dreaded whining from the transfer box at about 65K miles several months ago, so I removed the 40A ABS fuse to get some relief, however it started to get worse recently so I decided to take action. Mintech did not have a refurb box available but I managed to source a surplus worn out box locally for Mintech to send to their specialist gearbox facility in Hull. It came back a week later looking absolutely like new complete with a new output shaft nut etc. They also offered to fit the box at a very reasonable price, which I accepted (having always done my own maintenance on all our cars for the last 40 years!). It was completed the next day and delivered back to my home address (I live near Chester) ready for a test drive. Note they also replaced the NS tyre, which was badly worn, the NS wheel bearing, which was noisy too and flushed the main gearbox oil all at a sensible price. The car now sounds like new again and wifey is very pleased! I would definitely recommend Mintech Spares in Bury, Manchester. They are a BMW Mini specialist and dismantler, but this is no typical 'breakers yard', it's a new purpose built facility that's very clean, well organised and professionally run. They also seem to be the only UK company that can successfully refurbish the Mini 4x4 transfer box.

Cannot rate these guys highly enough. If you have a Mini and you need anything don't go anywhere else. Recently supplied and fitted me an R53 W11 engine, fantastic service and they have done so much more than just fit the engine, keep finding things that they have corrected that other garages left wrong. I'll definitely be going again if I need anything else. Thank you
