I had cataract surgery to both eyes with Optical Express (Trafford Centre branch). Initially I was happy but after 18 months one lens went milky. It was a quality issue with the lens. Several operations and thousands of pounds later my sight is still poor. Think carefully before proceeding!!!!!

I wear contact lens as well as spectacles. I went for an eye test and person I spoke to told me to wear my contact lenses. This turned out to be the wrong information as I am not to wear my contact lens for at least 24 hours in advance of the test. I had to make a second appointment when one would have done. I ordered some new spectacles as my prescription had changed. After wearing them for a few hours they became uncomfortable. On closer examination I found the 'pads' mis-aligned and unequal in size. Resulting in an other trip to the shop to correct. I found the eye test thorough and professional. I pay for my lens and spectacles through Optical Express's Direct Debt scheme. This I find to be advantageous when taking into account other benefits such as; lens solutions and free glasses.

I booked laser eye surgery with Optical Express as a friend recommended them to me, I should have had a consultation elsewhere also as the whole experience was so unorganised and the staff lacked communication, I felt like I always had to chase up the next step. Surgery went well however, the aftercare I experienced wasn't the best. You would definitely get more for your money elsewhere. I'd take this into consideration before booking in with Optical Express. The staff at on the day at the place of surgery Bridgewater Wellness Clinic I couldn't fault they were fabulous and Rabiah at the Trafford store was really lovely she was really helpful and understood my frustrations with the whole thing. Not all a bad experience but the majority wasn't worth the money I paid.

Haroon was brilliant! The customer service here was one of the best I've experienced. Haroon was also very knowledgeable when we enquired about laser eye surgery and gave us all the information we needed. Highly recommended branch and will be visiting again for any eye treatments.

I had an eye surgery 7 years ago and I was ok. Since 2 years my vision has been worsened and the same as before the surgery. I can't see properly again, and they assured me if anything is wrong will fix it for free. Also been told that I will see perfectly for life, and now when I went for a check-up they said that they would never say such a thing and I need another surgery for £1200!
