Peter Robinson and Co. was founded by Peter Robinson in January 1993 with offices in Oldham, Rochdale and Denton. In 2000 the Company acquired its head office in the Town Centre of Oldham at 27 Queen Street which allowed for the offices to be merged into one main base.
The company has grown organically with the current directors, all specialists in Property Law and all having qualified whilst working for Peter Robinson & Co. during the course of their careers.
Today, Peter Robinson & Co. specialises in all aspects of conveyancing, both commercial and residential, remortgages, transfer of equity, leases, landlord and tenants, business sales and purchases, home equity release schemes, wills, probate and commissioners for oaths.

We are first time buyers and I can tell you this, if you are reading this do not use this solicitors. Firstly I will say what they did well, behind the scenes they got stuff done very quickly, but thats all they did well. We were purchasing our new house, and we had no clue what to do or what to look for in a solicitor, if you are in the same boat look for a solicitor that communicates with you. There was little to zero communication they never return emails, phone calls messages anything, only thing i didn't try was a mail pigeon, in fact the only time they did contact us was to receive funds from us. Peter robinsons motto should be “I will get them to ring you back” We paid them £2000 for there ‘services’ god knows what them services are, we transferred them just shy of £9000 and they didn't even acknowledge they received the funds. Their letters and contracts they draw up, full of spelling mistakes and grammar errors, couldn’t even spell my name correctly half the time. Also if you receive a quote make sure you tell them if your property is leasehold or not as we assumed they would know from the estate agent and they ended up adding an extra £800 to our bill. In summary they do not care about the buyer, especially first time buyers who have no clue about the process, they clearly only care about money. A very unprofessional non-caring business.

Really impressed with the professionalism shown by Tammy, Sam, Nicola, Jane and team at Peter Robinson & Co throughout a protracted purchase. We used them for both the sale of our house which went like a dream and the purchase of another property, which if it wasn’t for their dogged determination would of certainly collapsed. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough and if you are about to instruct solicitors I would strongly suggest you use Peter Robinson & Co for your conveyancing needs.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received. I was kept informed every step of the way and always treated courteously by any staff member I had contact with. Due to Covid, and Staff having to work from home, I had to speak with several members of the team and they were all very knowledgeable and efficient, and up to date with the progress of the sale. A big thank you to Tammy and Sam, Nicola and Jane.

Highly Recommended!!! We would not use anyone else after dealing with this company for our past two properties. They are efficient, reliable and extremely professional. Nothing is too much trouble. The property market was all new to us when we first went to them and they were more than helpful if we ever had any questions. I have recommended family and friends, who have received the service we did.

Tammy Barnes has been professional and friendly. She has made me feel relaxed and at ease. Everything was explained and she kept in constant contact via phone, email & post. Nothing was too much trouble. Tammy provided great support and advice which led to a happy outcome of us owning our own home.
