We have created a beautiful Italian restaurant right here in Whitefield. The building itself is one of the areas distinct landmarks. Its prominent location on the corner of Bury New Road & Church Lane means we are right in the centre of things. The interior has been designed by one of the UK’s most celebrated interior specialists and their use of space, colours, materials and lighting has given us a City Centre atmosphere – except we’re right on your doorstep. Although the location & decor are always going to be important elements of a “favourite” restaurant, Porada really stands out for the quality of the food, which is always our No.1 priority. So if you enjoy true Italian cuisine, an extensive wine list and the most attentive service, you will love Porada.

It can't be easy dealing with a group of 21 guests but that's what Porada had on their hands tonight, and they did a very good job of it. The food was tasty and the waiters handled the large mix of orders well. All in all everyone had a good time and would come again.

My daughter booked for 4 of us to dine for my birthday. It was 4 pm and no other diners here. However, the whole restaurant was fully booked for an evening party, and this was probably why late afternoon dining was restricted as they were preparing the dining area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was well presented, very hot and tasty. The service was excellent. At the end of our meal, the staff brought out a large profiterole with a candle and all sang happy birthday, a funny and thoughtful gesture. Will definitely dine here again.

Booked a table for 2 on a Saturday night for a birthday meal. We arrived to chaos ( and much shouting) as we were told to wait 'at the side' for our table and then it appeared that 2 servers thought we were in fact to eat our meal 'at the side' , in a very busy corridor. All was finally resolved by about 830, whereupon the evening picked up with terrific food and a great waiter. So in summary I'd just advise to get the basics of booking and communication right, as the poor start nearly ruined the evening.

I would like to say a big thank you to Ricardo the manager and all the staff for making my sisters birthday meal so special. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was great. They even put the decorations up for me which looked great. Looking forward to visiting again very soon xx

Lovely place, really nice inside. Staff were lovely. Good choice of cocktail menu. A little bit cold inside but can't blame the restaurant too much, they had a lot of heaters set up. Would be nice to return in the summer. Didn't rate the Foccacia starter very much but everything else as expected. Large portion sizes. Very pleasant evening.
