I've been in this post office a couple of times for returns and the man at the counter is always complaining about packagings trying to sell me one of theirs, how annoying. Not a smile from either of them, you won't see me again, I'm sorry.

Started to use this post office at the start of Lockdown as I had to work from home. I have mixed feelings about this place. I can’t lie and I have had some acceptable customer service from here, but rest assured I have NEVER left here thinking it’s wonderful. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think Iv even had a smile from the older couple who own it. I anticipate having to que depending on what time I visit, but wow, the gentleman on the till really does not seem to have any concept of time or speed. Lastly they always have an issue with the size and weights of parcels and letters. I apply postage at home and I am always within size and weight guidelines it’s always a fuss and then they accept it after I have to explain the sizing to them?? (Post office workers?). They refused to take a parcel last week, as it didn’t fit in the “box”. I tried to explain the total size is within the guidelines as it is very thin.Wouldn’t have it. Absolute inconvenience as I had to go to another post office which accepted it No problem. I asked the gentleman at this post office about the size of it and he said (as I assumed) it was within the guidelines due to the shape of it. He advised me to make a complaint about Wood street Post Office as he said he has had this issue a few times with people coming from there.

The couple that work there take forever. They really need to get some younger/efficient staff members as they’re so slow. They also overcharge you for the packets and letters and have to go to another post office because of this. Would not recommend

Amazing, efficient and friendly service, have been using this post office for over two years now and cannot say enough good things about the quality of the service provided by the couple running this branch. Easiest 5 star review ever!!!!

Every time I go to this post office, the man who works there is very rude and he ignores the customers, he shouldn't treat people like this when we all pay for his service. I strongly do not recommend this place due to him.
