Excellent care from Miss Pearce, Colorectal Surgeon. Very pleased with the outcome of my operation. She went above & beyond what I expected. Also very good care from staff on Wards B2 monitored &. B1.

I can't fault the staff on the gynecology and surgical triage unit after being sent in from the doctors in the morning and then having to have surgery the same day. All the staff were incredibly kind, caring and very very friendly! I couldn't thank them enough for what they did for me over the 2 days.

Waiting time to be seen was good. Clinical treatment for my condition was good. So far everything great. Trouble started on the general ward I was placed. There were dementia patients in there too, and they kept up a constant barrage of shouting, screaming, and constant demands for attention. None of the rest of us got any sleep. Then next day a new shift of nurses came on and they wanted to pull back all of my privacy screens so that they could observe the dementia guys more easily. This was the last straw. I demanded to be discharged, this was granted but as the pharmacy staff had failed to deliver my meds, and no one could be found to do a prescription, I had to leave without blood thinners or adequate pain management. Individual doctors and senior nurses were great, some of those with less qualifications were often apathetic. The Byzantine rules and regulations are holding everyone back.

Very long wait been here 10hours. Receptionist where rude and not helpful at all. Only one doctor on and one nurse. My mum was very very ill and they made us wait 10 hours and more before getting seen. It made my mum feel worse has she was so tired with all the waiting. With no food or a bed to lay on. I am very disgusted with the NHS. How can people feel safe and trust the hospital when no help or care. I'm so bad and embarrassed I've seen this happen to my mum

As far as hospitals go, I cannot imagine how a hospital could get better than Salford. I unfortunately have been to A&E a couple of times and I have always been seen very quick and all of the consultants and doctors have always been extremely kind to me. Such a great team! Considering how hard it is to work for the NHS currently I cannot thank them enough!
