An investigation was raised a while back, plan for the officer for the building to plan a time to speak to us in person, which turned out to be a lie. Was promised a time for a visit at 12:30. No call for being late, and no call for the visit to be cancelled. Not very professional way to run and manage properties, if anyone's looking to move into a salix property, should REALLY look elsewhere. The offerings from salix aren't 'home worthy', and really need to rethink their resolution strategies with more thought and precision. Other comments on this page is related to mine , noise pollution! No curfew set! Whoever is supposed to be organising help for tenants needs to receive a P45. Period.

I’ve had a neighbour a few floors above me make the most loudest noises which last from 7:30am to 1am all day, everyday. Tried to contact Salix but all they say is: “wait wait wait wait wait wait” “wait for us to get involved” “just wait wait wait wait” my partner can’t sleep most days. It sounds like someone is dragging furniture, nailing the walls and stamping around. All. The. Time. This has happened for over 2 months and IS STILL on-going. Salix are lazy and don’t deal with complaints but they’re more than happy to harass you and blame other people. They take no responsibility for anything and they expect US to deal with their inadequate mistakes? It’s just laziness at this point. Someone’s oven set on fire which caused dark smoke in the apartments, which lead to me having a seizure. When I contacted Salix about this they denied they received such information from the emergency services and denied the emergency services arrived. Then when we threatened to get a lawyer involved they started changing my words and their own. Salix staff are just lazy, unprofessional, don’t care about anyone’s concerns nor their well-being, they don’t care about noise pollution, they never reply to your emails unless you remind around 10 times, they never answer your calls unless you email them to answer, when there’s issues they never respond and act like it isn’t a problem. Been on the phone to Salix before and they act so in denial. No positives as Salix can’t even do the basics which is health & safety. It’s embarrassing Update: ASB officer lied to us and cancelled our meeting WITHOUT TELLING US IN ADVANCE even though SHE requested this meeting in the first place. I’m actually done with Salix. They do nothing but stress you out and ignore you. The ASB office also accused me of excessive phone calls. I told her straight that you’re deliberately misleading information to your manager. Actually vile and disgusting. Update 2: ASB officer called Julie asked me to update her at anytime on email about the noise pollution. She decided then to give false information to her manager saying I called her at 8am when I called after 9:15am. I confirmed with her manager that I never called her at 8am. So Julie lied to her manager and I’m fuming. Julie has also lied about wanting to have a conversation with me. She asked out of her own time if she could meet me on 27/01/2022 at 12:30pm and I agreed as she was apparently “visiting Artifex” anyway. However Julie did not show up. She didn’t ring me to reschedule or cancel but she was happy to lie to Salix staff saying she tried to contact me and was knocking on our door for 2 minutes. My partner confirmed Julie was lying as he works from home and would’ve heard if anyone knocked on the door and I was at home too waiting for this person. When I tried to confront Julie for lying she was rude and aggressive to me. She lied to her manager but thank god I managed to sort it out. UPDATE 3: Salix have lied and done nothing about the noise pollution. We spoke to the ASB officer and she’s calling us liars. My partner has now lost his job. We will be taking this further as Julie won’t do anything. She believes a lie and it’s stupid. Anyone with Mental illness, disabilities or more don’t sign any contracts with Salix. They clearly don’t give a damn about anything or anyone. 10 days to respond.. It’s been almost a year. 12/03/2022 Update: Salix Homes now have responded with a letter saying that “there is no noise pollution” and started unprofessionally insulting us in their letter. The local ASB officer also allowed to put in false information by her manager which I can no longer change as her boss allowed her to put these allegations. After that they decided to send threatening letters to our apartment.

Too much noise pollution. They never respond to any problems. They don’t care and even a staff member said the didn’t want to speak to me due to the fact I want to get my solicitor involved. They don’t care about any issues until you start demanding to bring a solicitor and get the law involved. Unprofessional and disgusting people.
