What a fabulous shop. Kay was so very helpful and so many gorgeous outfits to choose from. My daughter and I went today to look at and try on an outfit I had seen on the website and fell in love with it and bought it for my daughters wedding in August. Nothing was any trouble to her and her advice was welcome. Definitely recommend Shelley K to everyone. Thanks again Kay xx Went today for my Mother of The Bride outfit- I hate shopping!! The minute myself and my sister walked in we were made to feel so welcome. I had said I didn't want a blue hat but after trying several outfits on- I came away with a blue dress and a mahoosive hat and I feel a million dollars in them. My sister had a lovely dress and jacket. First shop and first dress I tried on- has to be a record!! Cannot recommend enough. Thanks Ladies. I have just had an amazing experience getting a mother of the bride outfit. I was so nervous about trying things on and getting it right but 2 wonderful ladies helped me through it and my daughter we were made to feel so comfortable. I went to this shop with my partner to choose a mother of the Groom outfit, she was very nervous as she had never been to this type of shop before and she wanted to get it right first time. The staff put her totally at ease and were very patient and she never felt pressured at any time as we were in the shop well over 2 hours. She got a perfect trouser suit that fitted her like a glove. The staff were amazing and so lovely, customer care is in their DNA, if only all shops were as good as this one, thank you so much. .

Very poor after sales customer service. My wife purchased a dress and some accessories earlier in the year for our son’s wedding in June at a not inconsiderable expense. This included the hire of a hat. The dress was lovely and my wife was extremely happy. Unfortunately in late March my wife became unwell with an illness which significantly changed her body shape and requires chemotherapy treatment and as a result the dress was no long suitable. I spoke to Shelly at this time and fully explained the situation and asked if it could be exchanged for something more suitable but this was rejected out of hand and Shelly even stated that she had no control over how people wash or shower! At the same time of course we have no control over who may have tried the dress on before my wife!! Works both ways Shelly, and the evidence of the tags still being in place would confirm that the dress had been hung up since the day of purchase, indeed as you yourself suggested. A few weeks back I even called the shop again to suggest that at least the hire charge for the hat should be refunded and the assistant said she would ask Shelly to call me back. She never did!! So all in all a dreadful overall experience.

I am MOG in June this year and have been looking for a dress for so long. I visited this shop on Saturday not holding out much hope. How wrong I was, what a fantastic place with not only really lovely friendly staff but so knowledgeable. I can’t thank them enough for helping me choose a dress which I am so looking forward to wearing, I also got the most amazing shoes and bag to match. Thanks once again you are all amazing. p.s thanks for the advice on underwear I’ve also ordered some new bras 😉 x

My wife purchased a dress from this store. On collecting it and trying it on at home she felt it wasn’t the right dress for the occasion. When asking to return it a couple of days later she was flatly refused a refund and was only offered an exchange. As there was nothing else suitable in stock she is stuck with a dress she cannot wear. The shop needs to get up to date with modern retail business practise.
