Staff attitude was wrong, I went with a gentleman friend who's boots had literally fallen off of him so they were binned, and he had to go in his socks. Understandably he had no intention of trying any footwear on. I was following a little bit behind him, I watched as one assistant signalled to the other who went chasing after him, I said don't be chasing him like he's a leper or some criminal she said rather loudly but he's got dirty feet! I can't let him try anything on. I said he wont be. Then loudly she tried explaining, I replied we know, but there is right way to speak to someone, her's was definitely the wrong way. I've worked with the homeless, drug and alcohol dependent people for years, and my attitude is that whatever your circumstances, you deserve to be treated with a modicom of respect, and not bellowed at across a shop floor and humiliated by someone. He was feeling embarrassed anyway. In my role working with needy people I always told colleagues that I don't care if it's the queen,the pope or someone in rags my greeting was always "Hiya sweetheart are you okay,how can we help you?) My friend had gone to spend money on your premises & deserved better treatment, after all he contributed to her wages and your profit. You have now lost at least one customer.

Shopped at shoezone for years as they are normally great value. However the quality of their products has been really poor lately. School shoes not lasting 5 mins, I've also got slippers that have started falling apart after only a WEEK, using them in the evenings and early mornings.. Sorry but, I'll be shopping elsewhere and avoiding all Shoe zones. I expect them to go bust in the next 5 years unless their product quality improves.

This place has very poorly customer service I went in today and bought some safety boots and they didn’t give me a receipt with them. I went back to the store less than a hour later and they told me I got given a receipt after 5 minutes of back and fourth and 3 employees shouting in my face I said please could I have a new receipt they said no and told me I was barred and ringing the police. Never again will I be using the store

Arrogant and rude staff my mother recently called into your ashton branch for some school shoes for my granddaughter she asked for help with sizes and because my mum was distracted with my granddaughter she had forgotten what the lady had said so asked again to which the woman serving said " I've already told you twice its not difficult " that was just one occasion of staff rudeness I for 1 will never step foot in that store again also today 29/08/23 my wife and mother went in looking for child's socks asked the woman on the counter for help and before my wife could finish her sentence the woman was saying nope we don't sell children's socks you will have to try elsewhere to which my wife replied we have already been searching to which she arrogantly said oh well you will have to order online
