The 'sole trader' who was in charge of my job was called Stuart Owen. Persuasive and overconfident. Over-quoted, damaged my property, cancelled repeatedy. Caused damage to my property which I have been trying to sort out since early October. I cannot use the rooms he has worked on. He says he is a 'man of his word' so unfortunately I paid him. That was 6 months ago. I am now having to pay half as much again just to rectify his mistakes. The money is nothing compared to the amount of my time that has been wasted and inconvenience. I would not be surprised if this was discrimination based given the lack of priority and the way he treated a member of his 'team'. I'd advise strongly (as my bank did) not to engage Stuart - he is however persuasive.
