I called and explained that I needed someone to do a lunch visit for my uncle for a week, because my dad was in hospital. I explained I needed only a week, but they told me it was "too much paperwork for the sake of just a week". I asked, "But this person needs care?" She gave me a verbal shrug indicating it wasn't her problem. I have dealt with care companies before but I have NEVER heard anyone admit that they could NOT BE BOTHERED to come in and care for my uncle because of paperwork. I would be VERY SUSPICIOUS of this company if this is the focus of their business and would not trust them with any of my family members with this kind of attitude.
