Sutton Road Nursery

Sutton Road Nursery is located in the heart of Gorton and have strong links with our local community . We pride our self on being a inclusive and diverse enviroment for children and families to grow and achieve in a supportive and engaging way . The transistion from home to nursery is an important milestone for all children and their families, our small nursery environment  provides a homely feel with freindly and approachable staff to support with this step. We are unique in the fact that our managment team and several of our staff have worked in chidrens services for over 20 plus years  starting off working in Manchester City Council Sure Start Centres providing us with exellent training and experiences.

 The nursery setting is made up of a a baby room, a toddler room , pre school room and After school and hoilday care services. Practitioners work hand in hand with parents and carers following the EYFS and Development Matters Framework. Evidence of your childs time at Sutton Road is displayed in your childs learning journey portfoilo alongside photographs , observations and peices of your childs work. This supports  the nursery with a base in which to ensure your child is progressing  and targets set and  are achievable . Learning journeys also provide you and your child with alife long keep sake of there time at nursery to look back on and be enjoyed in future years to come. 

 Our affordable prices and flexible  sessions ensures all children and families have opportunity to access our services. We also provide one off drop in services for families who;s child does not attend nursery, however they may need childcare  for an important occassion or appointment such as a job interview , an hospital appointment , wedding or funeral. These sessions can be arranged as a one of service and are paid for per session . 

Throughout the nursery day your child will have snacks , meals and drinks from our Healthy Eating Menu, At our recent development meeting we have discussed creating our own growing patch in our outside area and are hoping to be growing lots of our own foods in the future which our children will be able to take care of and grow before adapting these foods into our healthy  menu.  

At Sutton Road Nursery we provide opportunity to grow,achieve, have fun and develop real life experiences, supporting children and families to reach their full potential whilst actively encouraging participation in their own learning and developing.

Fantastic nursery with lovely and brilliant staff! My 30 month daughter attending this nursery since she was only 12 month and she is really happy and love the place. The activities are various, joyful and creative and she learns something new everyday. I'm very happy with Sutton Road Nursery services . Their nice staff are friendly, well caring and supportive. I don't need to worry anymore about my daughter when I leave her behind in such clean place with good care, and I satisfied enough to recommend this nursery to the other parents.

My 3 year old son has been at this nursery since September 2017 and he absolutely loves it here..the nursery is Lovely, clean and well staffed with lots of activities for the children to do including getting involved with dressing up for world book day and children in need..making Easter bonnets and many other things which my son has loved doing..the staff are lovely and I feel my son is safe and looked after whilst here, the nursery was recommended to me by quite a few people whose children had been here and I would definitely recommend it to others

All 3 of my children have attended sutton road nursery , sutton road nursery have always been fantantic , the staff are loving, caring and are always very welcoming. Sutton road nursery have always been supportive and the managment team are very efficient , Kerrie and Nicola the managers run a very smooth, established business and will go out their way to help others. My childrens first experience at sutton road nursery has been lovely and has put a parents mind at ease knowing they are being left in good hands. There is a variety of activities ran throughout the day which my children highly enjoy and good routines are set which have helped me greatly at home as a parent. Sutton road nursery are always willing to help my children develop in their learning and have good parent involvment through parent evenings and regular updates . My children also attend holiday care a service which is ran through school holidays which is great support as a working parent. I cant of asked for a better nursery which has great potential ,thankyou to all the staff and managers for everything you do it is highly appreciated.

Unprofessional stuff and head teacher, its dirty inside and especially the kids tolite !! Its chaso inside not enough stuff and theres way to much kids . i would not recommed this nursery to any parents . PARENTS BE AWARE !!
