I lived in Ashcroft Apartments for a month since I arrived in UK and was finding it difficult to rent a house. Management: I went to that place and Mr. Colin (Care Taker) showed us a couple of rooms and we selected one which we booked for a week. When we inquired if cleaning will be done daily? we were told, cleaning is done weekly and will be included in the package. When we extended for the first time after our first week, we had booked for next 7 days and Mr. Mathew had agreed to it. However, on our 9th day in Ashcroft, we were told to pack our bags and leave the place within a day along with my family. When we told him about our agreement for extension, he agreed about the extension however said its only for 2 days that I need this room and you will have to arrange somewhere else. Later, the other party for whom we were being asked to vacate the place didn’t pay Mr. Mathew and we were told that we can continue to live there. We started living there and had to keep extending for next 5 weeks. Our room was never cleaned despite talking to Mr. Mathew who is owner of the place. When we first asked Mr. Mathew for cleaning of room he asked it would be 30 pounds extra on hefty rent we were already paying him in cash. When I reminded him what was agreed between Mr. Colin and us, he said okay I’ll send the cleaner which he never did. We lived there for 5 weeks and a cleaner never came to clean the room. Rooms can get very cold during night time since the radiators didn’t work in our room during night times and sometimes during day. On our last day, Mr. Colin showed very rude behavior and we were told to leave the room in 30 minutes since we were above checkout time. When it was reminded that there is no agreement or written contract between us for checkout time, we were told that we will be charged / fine for any extra time spent in the room. It was clearly seen that Mr. Colin tried to fleece some more cash out of us. We left the place immediately. Place: Place is good near Hospital and walking distance to bus stop. Initially you will be lost in a maze-like interior.

Where do I start staff rude especially the house keeper he was abrupt and stinks of alcohol, he was visibly drunk as wobbled up and down the stairs with our cases. Like a scene from faulty towers in the middle of the afternoon. Really loud shouting at night, constant smell of weed. the room wasn’t cleaned properly, shower wouldn’t run hot water. When I raised my concerns he didn’t seem bothered. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not, would I recommend this place NO! Honestly premier inn near Trafford centre is cheaper, better customer service no drugs. This place has the potential to be amazing but it’s miles off that at the moment!

Happy & satisfied with my accommodation there for almost 2 months. Starting with the customer service, which was brilliant with booking & payments. They were very flexible & helpful as I had to extend my stay many times at the last minute. The place itself was clean, new, well maintained and fully equipped with basic amenities along with shard kitchen & dining facilities. Also, there was parking available. The broadband speed was a bit slow but was not an issue. The only thing I didn't like was the noise of some residents during weekends. Hopefully it gonna be fixed soon.

Where to start I was meant to be staying at this property last night but what a nightmare it turned out to be bed was not clean our kitchen had noodle all over the place dog hair dirt and coffee stain down the wall which I have pictures of the rooms are no longer what they used to look like called manager asked for refund for him to the call house keeper and tell him to get us out I want to make it clear he offered us another room but I had my son with me and it only had a double bed and he said you can get a camp bed for your son when it’s clearly stated when booking double and single bed. Still have not got my refund I wouldn’t even give one star if you a family or any human being that knows what the standards of hotels are meant to be should AVOID at all cost I’m sure he says he will give refund to get you out and not pay back as far as I know right now will change/ update if I get my money back. I want to state for record I have pictures of how bad it was..
