Please read the following directions before starting your journey to us. Most satnavs will try and direct from the west side of Prestolee Road which is an unmade track and is very difficult to drive along.
If you use the postcode M26 1FA this will take you to the correct entrance for Prestolee Road. Do not turn down Shoretop Farm Lane look for the signs for the Cat Hotel at the end of Prestolee Road. Please note this is not our postcode but it is the best to get to the cattery.
The Cat’s Other Mother is only 200 metres on the left hand side of Prestolee Road. Do not turn into Bridge Street at The Grapes pub.

The Cats Other Mother Cat Hotel is absolutely first class and we have had Nova in there a few times, the one place our rescue is truly spoilt and we feel so assured about her care. The room is absolutely perfect and the care and attention from Helen, Purry Grandmother and team is second to none. We already have all our planned holidays booked in to this amazing place and would absolutely recommend.

Wonderful experience! We were leaving our cat for the very first time, and were not sure if he would settle in. But Helen and her team took great care of Louie during his stay. She also sent regular photo/video updates. Could not ask for a better place to leave our cat- we were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that he was being well looked after and having the best time. 😃

Just the best cat hotel to board my cat Coco . I cannot thank Helen , Jan and Chris enough for the wonderful care and attention that Coco receives during his breaks here. He just loves staying and I can see from photos and videos and his demeanour that he is absolutely pampered with love and has great play sessions . The rooms are amazing in terms of comfort and window gazing with massive attention paid to catification of the rooms with climbing structures and scratch posts and hidey holes and toys . I am excited myself looking at the fantastic layout of each room . I know Coco has plenty to keep him busy and stimulated during his stay . I honestly can’t say enough how much Coco loves staying and how great it is to know that while I have a break he is having a great stay in complete comfort with an excellent standard of care . Thankyou sooo much . See you again soon xx ❤️😻

I am absolutely delighted entrusting my cat to Helen at The Cat's Other Mother. The level of individualized care and attention she provides for the feline companions is truly remarkable. It can be quite challenging to find a place where you feel completely at ease leaving your cat, but at this establishment, they go above and beyond in every way. The genuine passion and dedication they exhibit towards their work and the well-being of each and every cat is evident. I consistently receive regular updates and the communication is superb, which always eliviates any worries or concerns while you are on holiday allowing you to relax knowing that your cats are happy, safe and well in their care.

We were quite nervous about leaving Ernie as it would be the most days we have been away from him and at the last cattery he stayed at he did not settle! But as soon as we arrived at The Cats Other Mother, we were all made to feel so welcome. The Hotel is so warm and friendly and you can feel the love pouring out of every aspect of it! We were shown to Ernie’s room and he settled in straight away! He loved his window and his platforms to sit on! There was everything and more in the room to make him feel at ease and happy! He didn’t even want to come home at the end haha! Helen was amazing! She could not do enough! Her knowledge about Cats was just so reassuring to know Ernie was going to be so well looked after. The updates throughout the stay were settling for us to know he was happy and loving his time there! Throughout the whole process Helen has been great, even before Ernie arrived, she called and spoke through everything and made me feel comfortable before dropping Ernie off! I can’t forget Helen’s lovely mum, who i know was very involved making Ernie’s stay the best it could be! I really could not recommend The Cats Other Mother enough to anyone with a feline friend. It really is a safe and loving environment that you feel safe leaving your fur baby! 5 stars isn’t enough!
