Hidden gem just by the university. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was wonderful! I got the mushroom soup which I really liked. My friend got bacon and cheese toastie. And to top it off we got the chocolate babka (which was unreal) and hot chocolate. Will be coming back soon!

This place is amazing. It has the vibes of am ultra modern, in-house baked bread and pastries, bakery but without the ridiculous prices. The coffee was great and a massive bonus is that the dairy free milk did not have an extra charge, always a winner! I had a falafel and houmous sandwich, highly recommend. Friends had pain au chocolat, bacon sandwich and New York sandwich all of which were raved about. Saturday morning after parkrun meant it was packed, not surprisingly. But such a quirky venue and staff were very nice and service was quick helping manage the queue length. I will be returning!

Went for a walk down here to try out lunch. A great addition to the area. Nice vibe to the place. Found staff to be very friendly and service good. Opted for a soup and sandwich and enjoyed both. Sandwich was generously filled out and the fresh bread is fantastic given it’s baked on-site. Will have to return to try other things on the menu and the beer offering. Well worth a visit even though its out of my way a bit.

Very tasty, dog friendly, outside seating as well as in house and plenty of it. Pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely go back! I had the French toast with maple and bacon, my partner had the chickpea salad. We had the cinnamon cake and the starter of toast with oil and balsamic vinegar...all lovely.

Great 3 cheese toastie and not shy with the filling. More choice of bread would be helpful but good value. Service was a little poor, felt a bit like we were just a number and just lacked a bit of eye contact and care.
