OK so it's not going to everyone's favourite pub. A bit old fashioned and it was dead on a Friday night when I last visited just myself and a friend and two other blokes. It's a proper local. I've been in after work and it's full of people who all know each other. No mobile phones or electronic devices allowed (Sam Smiths brewery rules). They do however serve very reasonably priced beer of which I can only vouch for the dark mild which is excellent.

Nice, old-style Sam Smith's pub. You know the story!? Very good pint of O B bitter, stout was good and the cider too. Excellent service from Gaynor. Thanks 😊.
