Traditional no-frills pub next to the canal with rural views to one side, serving J W Lees cask bitter amongst other things. No food apart from bar snacks. Cash only, no card payment. Nice place for a pint on the towpath as part of a canal walk.

Lovely boozer next to the Rochdale Canal. Cash only which is a disappointment as there is nowhere nearby to get cash (the garage cash machine breaks down often). Would be good for them to get a sum up or similar card reader to pay for drinks.

First time I'd visited, took my new dog The pub is a Dog friendly pub, but very clean, sat on a canal, with a lovely lock Will deffo be visiting again amd look forward to next year summer, to sit outside and chill
