About Us
UBU Environmental Ltd is a family-owned and managed business which was incorporated in 1998. Legend has it that the initial purchase of the company’s first road sweeper was a fortunate stroke of serendipity involving a burger van and missed JCB lot at an auction.
21 years later and UBU are the largest operated road sweeper hire company in the North West, managing a fleet of over 120 Johnston sweepers, high pressure road jetters and jet vac whale tankers. Our business strategy is very simple in that we believe in continual growth in the area of performance and compliance coupled with a continual reduction in the quantities of road sweeper waste going to landfill.

I am very sorry that I did not get to work because I got sick with covid 19, but I know It is very good company very helpful transport manager, and all staff, I work for them only one week, and was very praud, Anyway I can highly recommend this company for any HGV drivers. Thank you very much.

Used UBU for the first time last Saturday on one of our industrial estates - first class job. Turned up on time in equipment that worked perfectly (this is a change for us as we had received poor service form other people in the past who sent wagons with bits not working) and the driver wouldn't even stop when offered a brew!! Five starts an easy rating and will be using them again on our other sites.

Horrendously rude and arrogant telephone operator. Actively admitting there is no consideration for residents who are subject to hours of unecessary cleaning. I rang up to complain about the huge levels of noise pollution, and the waste of time as the cleaner clearly only does a 20m stretch of road EVERY week day including Saturdays. He's obviously wasting time, parked up with his engines on. I stated could they not let their client know (who I will be contacting) that they are wasting their money. And all the operator could say was that I was stupid to ask as why would they want to possibly lose some business. Which is a disgusting attitude to have. Your clients and people affected by your noise pollution should come first. Not the money in your pocket.
