The food was brilliant! Compliments to the chef. Different meals was ordered by all and no complaints. Waiter went beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure that we had everything that was needed. Really enjoyed it and will be visiting Unity Brook Inn as often as I can do (for food)

I went there for dinner last week with my sister. The lady that served us was pleasant at first. But when I informed her that there was a hair on my plate she just wiped the hair off and shrugged and shook her head, as if to say ' so what's the problem' she then said, 'so you're not eating it then' . no apology what's so ever. ' and before I get a comment that the hair was on the plate and not in the lasagne, that's true but the salad and garlic bread were in that plate. So to me it was a big deal. I hadn't noticed it at first until I turned the plate. Also the food was awful.

Don't go for food as they have stopped serving completely and should say so on website. Also sad to say both interior and exterior is both old and delapitdated. Shame really as old reviews seemed good. Very disappointed and would not visit again

Got steak & chips was lovely, friend got cheese & onion pie loved it. Reasonably priced for good food. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, the peppercorn sauce however was like water, definitely need to make it thicker especially as they charge extra for it.

Had a lovely meal here last Sunday from the Christmas menu although would have liked more than 2 roast spuds! Service and staff was great although cannot understand why we were told we couldn’t order a drink from our table and had to go to the bar ourselves. This wouldn’t be a problem unless you are halfway through your meal and then have to queue at the bar. Food was freshly prepared and piping hot. Great value for money too. Decor very dated and could do with an update but don’t let that put you off as well worth a visit.
