As you step into this dismal space, you're greeted by an unsettling odor-a fusion of mustiness and mildew that lingers in the stale air. The carpet beneath your feet feels more akin to sandpaper than luxury, with its worn-out fibers and suspicious stains that seem to tell tales of forgotten spills and neglect. There was no television in the room. If you enjoy sleepless nights, uncomfortable beds, and bathrooms straight out of a nightmare, then by all means, book a room at this hotel. But if you value your sanity and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and steer clear. My partner has been taken to the hospital twice after the stay due to allergies.

I needed a cheap room to stay in after the football at Old Trafford. I didnt read the reviews on Google until after I booked so was a bit concerned, however I wasnt expecting much for the price (£35.00). The positives: Free Car park and within 10mins walk of the Weaste tram stop. My bed linen was clean (unlike some have reported) and the pillows comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The negatives: Very Dirty carpets. Entrance carpet was actually soaking wet. Dirty walls. Damp marks on ceiling. TV was not connected to aerial so pointless it being in room. Matress was poor and felt like it has collapsed - could have been bed frame. At the end of the day, it is what it is. Budget accomodation. As a solo traveller going to Old trafford I was only in the room for 6hours (sleeping) after so for the price it didnt bother me that much. This review is more to make others aware. There is some work going on so maybe the owners are now refurbishing the hotel, it does need it. Lovely building from the outside, has potential. I wouldnt bring the wife or family!

Good for big groups coming up for matches or a night out and not much else. It's bare bones and rooms are not well kept with stains on the floors and paint coming off the walls. The staff is kind and can handle rowdy crowds coming in late. For the price it's hard to beat as it's similar to a Premier Inn.

Room & whole hotel far too basic, filthy, old fashioned, & not kept up. Staff service was fine but this hotel needs a major renovation. Horrible place. It was like being back in the 80s or 90s with outdated &.dirty carpets & furniture & a rickety old bed, this hotel badly needs to stop living in the past & bring itself into the modern day. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Will never stay there ever again
