Worst customer service ive seen in Trafford Centre by Laura the elder lady and a guy who didn't have his name tag on. They both refused to serve me and 2 customers infront of me because both of them were stood behind the till talking about a return for 10 minutes. I spoke up and asked if it was possible if one of them could serve as im on my break (I am the assistant manager of Menkind in Trafford) as there's no need for both of them to be behind the tills just talking and they both just point blanked refused to serve without no reason and their exact words were 'Just use the self service as we probably will here for a while' which is absolutely ridiculous as I said I needed a student discount to be applied, not to mention why there needs to be 2 people discussing a return for 10 minutes that didn't even get processed in the end. Then they told me I couldn't use my student discount because it wasn't the right form? That doesn't even make sense, Laura looked as if she didn't know what she was doing at all as after my transaction I was waiting for a good minute for my receipt because she 'didn't realise it had already printed'. So not only did I not get my student discount but also missed my break because them 2 were stood behind the till talking for 10 minutes about a return when one could have easily just served the 2 customers infront of me.

Called in for a specific magazine which thankfully they had. Good selection of tourist gifts available in there. Cashiers were pleasant.

Plenty of stock. Staff not that helpful. They were concentrating on there conversations than helping customers.

W H Smith always has a great selection, but some prices were higher than I'd expect

A great range of stationary and reading materials available for purchase. Slightly overdone it on the amount of aisles and small space between the aisles though however, can make it a bit tricky to navigate around if you have a pram, wheelchair or a quad bike.
