I instructed this company to undertake conveyancing on a BTL property. They under paid SDLT to HMRC, but took the correct amount from me. They spotted this error 12 months later and did not inform me. I received an interest tax demand from HMRC which when confronted with they said they knew nothing about. Only after months of further investigation with ourselves and HMRC did they finally admit the error. I would not recommend this company based on this experience.
