About Us
Situated on Worsley Road on the corner of Houghton Lane, Swinton we are a friendly, vibrant Christian church with something to offer everyone.
We think you will find us a friendly and relaxed group of people extending a warm welcome to all who wish to join us in our Christian witness. We have an open and varied approach to in our worship respecting both our traditional ways and a modern approach. We try to make church life as varied and rich as we can, and we are open to new ideas as we discern what and who Christ is calling us to be.
Here at Worsley Road we have a mixed aged congregation including families with children and we always strive to be as inclusive as possible offering a welcome regardless of colour, ethnicity, gender, ability, sexual orientation, language, culture, and age. Our aim is to provide a Christian presence and service in our local community.
We are a local United Reformed Church in the Bolton and Salford Missional Partnership which consists of 16 churches served by two ministers.

Thank you all for a Great service and the warm welcome given to us all when we attendedyesterday. New Church to us, as mums has been closed. Easy to book in and safe to attend at these present times. They also have live services over Zoom. We will definitely see you soon.

I went to a summer fayre here and it was lovely they have a little cafe which was nice to sit and enjoy a brew and some biscuits.

Loads of activities. All uniformed organisations, street dance, Tai Chi, toddler group, Urban Stage, danceasize gold, line dancing, Julie's Weigh to Fitness, Slimming World, badminton 3 times a week, kurling, SCL weight management, regular coffee mornings. Really friendly. Great family service and Sunday School Sunday's at 10.45am. Evening service 6.30pm.

It is a good location, I attend the Toddler group held there each Thursday. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of space. Singing and bubbles to end .

Attended mother and toddler group ,very nice staff ,lots of toys ,group activity also . We sang around the piano children's songs . A really nice afternoon
